Turkish Airlines to add 11 more new routes to Istanbul

Turkish Airlines recently announced its connectivity to Istanbul by adding 11 new more destinations. It is expected that important cities across the world that include Los Angeles, Guangzhou, Shiraz, Malaga and Valencia, Thessaloniki, Toulouse, Manila, Naples, Turin and Genoa will be connected to Istanbul by the year end.

A three time a week service of B777-300ER aircraft will be operational over the Guangzhou route. This will make Guangzhou the third Chinese destination. The flights will depart from Istanbul at 11.05 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and will arrive in Guangzhou at 02.50 p.m. The flight will then leave Guangzhou at 11.05 p.m. and will arrive in Istanbul at 05.05 a.m.

The airlines will offer B777-300ER carrier service over the Los Angeles-Istanbul route four times a week. The flight will depart from 11.10 a.m. from Istanbul on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and will arrive in Los Angeles at 03.25 p.m. the round trip flight will depart on the same day from Los Angeles at 07.55 p.m. and will arrive in Istanbul at 07.10 p.m. the next day.

The Istanbul-Shiraz route service will commence from 14th March 2011 that will run four times a week. The airlines will use B737-800 used with varying schedule the year round.
