Turkish Airlines to launch direct nonstop Houston-Istanbul flights
Turkish Airlines recently announced it will be launching its direct nonstop flights between Houston and Istanbul from next year.
The airline in a statement said that passengers would be able to get air tickets for new flights between Houston’s George Bush International Airport and Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport to be launched from April 1, 2013.
The airline will be operating four weekly flights between the two cities. The flights on Houston-Istanbul route will be operated with the help of a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which has the capacity to seat a total of 334 passengers.
Turkish Airlines operates out of its main hub at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport and currently offers flight services to more than 190 destinations around the world. The airline carries 33 million passengers annually to these destinations.
