WestJet Airlines sign codeshare agreement with British Airways

Leading Canadian carrier WestJet Airlines recently announced it has signed a partnership deal with UK’s national flag carrier British Airways.
 
The codeshare agreement makes British Airways the eighth carrier to be included in WestJet Airlines’ codeshare partnership program list.

The codeshare pact between the two carriers will help WestJet Airlines flights tickets to be sold through British Airways. Similarly, the UK-based carrier British Airways would also be able to sell its air tickets through WestJet Airlines.

Earlier, WestJet Airlines and British Airways had already been collaborating with each other on baggage and handling tasks.

However, the new codeshare agreement would provide WestJet Airlines a great opportunity to attract more international customers to use its network for their onward journey.   

The codeshare agreement between WestJet Airlines and British Airways has come as a great boon for the travelers and would now make it easier for them to travel to and from the UK and Canada.
