Aer Lingus expands partnership with Aer Arann

Aer Lingus flights will now operate under the Aer Lingus Regional brand after the airline expanded its partnership with Aer Arann.

Aer Lingus recently announced the expansion of its partnership with Aer Arann. The airline in a statement said that with the expansion of its partnership, Aer Arann will now cease the operation of its flights under its own name.

All Aer Arann services to the UK, France and the Isle of Man are now being operated under the Aer Lingus Regional brand effective March 25, 2012.

Aer Arann will provide the aircraft and crew under the terms of the Aer Lingus Regional partnership. The flights will be operated under the Aer Lingus brand and seats will also be sold through it. 

The airline disclosed that a new Aer Lingus Regional route would operate between London Southend and Dublin from May 10, 2012.

Sean Brogan, Aer Arann’s interim chief executive, said that the move was a major strategic development for the airline. He said that operating under one brand will enable the carrier to streamline its services, resulting in an overall improved experience for the customers.
