Airberlin expands tie-up with other frequent flyer programs

Germany’s leading carrier Airberlin recently announced that it has expanded its partnerships with other frequent flyer programs. The airline said that its frequent flyer program members, usually taking Airberlin flights, will also now be able to collect topbonus miles on all flights with oneworld members Cathay Pacific Airways and LAN Airlines.

The airline in a statement said that the Asia Miles/Marco Polo Club and LANPASS frequent flyer programs have now started operating in partnership with topbonus, Airberlin’s frequent flyer program, with immediate effect. The partnership will now allow topbonus members to collect award miles and reserve flights across Cathay Pacific Airways and LAN Airline’s networks. Besides, Asia Miles/Marco Polo Club and LANPASS members will similarly be able to collect and redeem miles on Airberlin flights as well as NIKI flights.
