Air Canada launching nonstop Toronto-New York JFK flights May 3

Air Canada recently announced it is introducing nonstop flights between Toronto and New York in May this year.

The airline in a statement said that it will be offering convenient options to its passengers for traveling to New York City from Toronto.

Air Canada flights between Toronto Pearson International Airport and New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport will be launched from May 3, 2012. The nonstop flights will be operated thrice daily.

Apart from this, the airline is also increasing to hourly service flights between New York LaGuardia and Toronto Pearson each business day effective May 1, 2012.

The airline stated that by adding John F. Kennedy International Airport to its existing destinations in the New York metropolitan area, Air Canada will become the only Canadian carrier to offer flights to all three major New York City area airports – John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport.

The airline further said that it with the addition of hourly service to La Guardia, it will be providing the most frequencies.
