Air Canada to unveil new 2013 Top Tier Program

Canada’s flag carrier Air Canada recently announced it will soon unveil its 2013 Top Tier Program with appropriate changes. The airline will introduce new tier levels and realign some of the benefits.

The key benefit changes being announced a year in advance will feature the introduction of two additional tiers. The 2013 Top Tier privilege period will be from March 1, 2013 until February 28, 2014.

Air Canada in a statement said that over the course of 2012, the passengers booking Air Canada flights will be updated with complete details, including some new and exciting benefits currently in the works. The names of the new tier levels will be unveiled in due course.

The airline revealed that the 2013 Top Tier Program has been redesigned to better recognize and reward Air Canada’s loyal customers. It has also been ensured that the Air Canada Top Tier Program remains highly competitive internationally.

The airline stated that these changes apply to the 2013 Top Tier benefit year beginning March 1, 2013. However, the 2012 Air Canada Top Tier Program currently in effect will not be affected in any way.
