Air Canada’s Tango Plus category renamed Flex

Passengers booking Tango Plus category fares on Air Canada flights will now travel in Flex class as this category has been renamed.
 
Air Canada recently announced that it has renamed its Tango Plus category as Flex. The airline in a statement said that the motive behind renaming Tango Plus category as Flex is that this better reflects the economy value and flexibility of this category.

The airline, however, said that the existing names for other categories, including Latitude and Executive (for the premium classes) and Tango (which is the cheapest fare class) would continue to remain as usual.

The customers booking Air Canada flight tickets would be offered different levels of service depending on fare class, such as advanced seat selection, waiving change fees and frequent flyer points to be awarded.

Meanwhile, another Canadian carrier WestJet Airways has decided to introduce Econo, Flex and Plus categories this spring. The airline has already indicated that it will be moving away from its one-fare pricing structure.
