Air China launches new nonstop Beijing-London Gatwick flights

Air China recently announced the launch of its new Beijing-London Gatwick route. The airline stated that new Air China flights between Beijing Capital International Airport and London Gatwick Airport will be served by the state-of-the-art Airbus SAS A330-200 aircraft.

According to the airline, the newly-launched nonstop flights between Beijing and London Gatwick Airport will be increasing the capacity on the route by more than 50 percent.

Air China will operate four-time weekly nonstop flights on Beijing-London Gatwick route, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The flights will depart from London Gatwick Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport at 1.15 pm London time.

Gatwick is London's second-largest international airport, which is now making use of every opportunity to attract airlines from emerging markets where the demand for quality flights is growing.

Currently, Air China is operating daily direct flights from London Heathrow International Airport to Beijing Capital International Airport, which takes about 10 hours to reach.

More than one million business travelers, students and tourists visit China and the UK every year, according to official statistics.
