Air China launching Copenhagen flights from Beijing in June

China’s only flag carrier Air China recently announced that it will introduce direct flights to Copenhagen from Beijing beginning June 2, 2012. The airline has decided to operate four weekly flights and will deploy Airbus A330-200 on the Beijing-Copenhagen route. The flights will be operated on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

With the launch of Copenhagen flights from Beijing, Air China will be operating its flight services to 14 European destinations. Besides, weekly roundtrip flights between mainland China and Europe will also stand at 178.

Air China currently has a fleet of 290 Airbus and Boeing aircrafts. The airline operates flights on 289 routes – 73 international, 14 regional and 202 domestic. Air China serves a total of 142 cities in 30 countries and regions of the world.
