Gatwick Airport welcomes the arrival of Air China

London’s Gatwick Airport recently welcomed the arrival of People's Republic of China flag carrier Air China. The arrival of Air China flights to London Gatwick Airport from China’s capital Beijing will now provide more travel options to customers from both the capital cities.

With an aim to expand its London network, Air China has now started providing nonstop flights service from Gatwick Airport to Beijing International Airport four times every week.

According to Air China, London Gatwick-Beijing route will be operated with the help of Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The flight will depart Gatwick at 1300 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and will be arriving at Beijing airport at 0620 local time the following day. The return flight will depart Beijing at 0135 and will arrive at London Gatwick at approximately 0550 the same day.

Guy Stephenson, Gatwick Airport's Chief Commercial Officer, said that the airport is delighted to welcome Air China and its passengers to Gatwick, as the airport seeks to enhance its role in becoming the gateway to Asia.
