Air France to launch 3 additional Paris-Singapore flights starting May 28

Air France recently announced that it will be launching 3 additional roundtrip flights to Singapore from Paris starting May 28, 2012. With the launch of the new additional flights the frequency will be increased to 10 times per week.

Currently, Air France is operating daily roundtrip flights between Paris and Singapore.

The airline will deploy Boeing 777-200ER aircraft configured with 309 seats – 4 seats in First Class, 48 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Voyageur and 170 seats in Voyageur – to operate the 3 additional flights.

Air France said that with the launch of 3 new additional flights it will be able to further strengthen its position in Australia. The airline in a statement said that it will connect via Singapore to flights to Paris from major Australian cities in association with its codeshare partner Qantas and its interline partner Jetstar.

The additional flights are expected to provide more opportunities to the business and leisure travelers from Australia to connect to Air France’s global network.

Air France also provided details about its refurbished business class seats, whose features include a comfortable seat bed (2 m long and 61 cm wide), new fixed footrest to provide relaxation to the legs during take-off and landing, simpler and more practical controls, and more spacious storage areas.
