Air Pacific to be named Fiji Airways in 2013

From next year, Air Pacific flights will be operated under a new name “Fiji Airways”. The fresh brand identity of the airline will coincide with a new Airbus A330-200 aircraft fleet and an enhanced in-flight experience.

Air Pacific is Fiji’s national flag carrier. The airline currently operates nonstop flights between Fiji and Los Angeles. The flights between the two destinations are being currently operated four times every week. The airline is operating the flights on Los Angeles-Fiji route with the help of a Boeing 747 aircraft.

The airline offers world-class service in both economy class and business class in its spacious Boeing 747 aircraft.

Air Pacific is also into partnership with American Airlines and Alaska Airlines. The customers of Air Pacific when flying with American Airlines and Alaska Airlines are able to earn and redeem points. The airline is a partner in the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan and American Airlines AAdvantage programs.
