AirTran improves on-time performance in 2011

AirTran Airways becomes more punctual in the year 2011 as compared to the year before. This determination came from the report published by a Portland Company, renowned for mapping on-time performance of airlines.

As per the report more than 25% of all the North American flights we either delayed or cancel. Out of the 25%, nearly 9% airlines were late by 15-24 minutes, 4% by 25-44 minutes and nearly 9% by more than 44 minutes. And the remaining 2% flights were cancelled.

And it was AirTran Airways, one of the top carriers at Mitchell International Airport, Milwaukee who overshadowed nearly 75% of the industries air carriers, and was on-time in nearly 85% of its flights.
