Alitalia new summer schedule from March 25

Alitalia recently announced its 2012 summer schedule due to start from March 25. The airline said that this summer it will fly to 95 destinations.

The airline will begin seasonal flights to six new destinations, apart from 28 destinations in Italy and 67 worldwide.

Alitalia flights will be served on 189 routes (22 more compared to last year), with a total of over 5500 weekly flights.

The passengers will get an opportunity to book Alitalia flights tickets on some new routes. The airline will introduce new routes to Saudi Arabia and Georgia.

Alitalia said in a statement that it will be the only airline to operate direct flights between Georgia and Italy.

The airline will start two weekly frequencies between Rome and Tbilisi from July. Besides, it will also introduce four frequencies per week between Rome and Riyadh from July this year.
