British Airways recently announced it will be shifting its flights services between Terminal 1 and Terminal 5 of London Heathrow Airport.
The airline in a statement said that passengers taking connecting British Airways flights or through Qantas Airways or Cathay Pacific Airways at London Heathrow Airport to a UK or European destination will be required to check out from the terminal from which they will be flying or whether their flights will be changing the terminals. The airline is planning to shift its flights operations between the two terminals in a few months.
British Airways stated that the changes would come into effect starting October 28, 2012 when the winter flight schedule begins.
According to the airline, the flights changing the terminals will be for the destinations including Zurich, Stavanger, Salzburg, Oslo, Lyon, Luxembourg, Hanover, Faro, Dusseldorf, Agadir, Aberdeen, Turin, Toulouse, Palma, Marseille, Marrakech, Manchester, Malaga,, Ibiza, Glasgow, Gibraltar, Edinburgh, Bologna, Bergen, Belfast and Basel.
