China Southern Airlines to introduce Airbus A380 service on Los Angeles-Guangzhou route

China Southern Airlines recently announced it will be introducing Airbus A380 service on its Guangzhou-Los Angeles route from October this year.
The airline in a statement said that China Southern Airlines flights between Guangzhou and Los Angeles will start operating with the help of Airbus A380 from October 12, 2012.

The airline stated that this will be for the first time it will be operating Airbus A380 aircraft to an international destination on its flight network.

China Southern Airlines currently own three Airbus A380 aircrafts and operates flights to Guangzhou and Hong Kong from Beijing.
China Southern Airlines is also the first airline company on China to operate Airbus A380 aircrafts.

According to the airline, China Southern Airlines flights tickets are already up for sale for its new Airbus A380 service on Guangzhou-Los Angeles route.

The airline indicated that it wants to replace the current Boeing 777-200ER service with Airbus A380 aircrafts.
