Copa Airlines becomes member of Star Alliance

Copa Airlines recently announced it has now become a member of Star Alliance, the world’s leading global airline alliance.

With the joining of the largest and most important global airline alliance in the world, Copa Airlines flights will now be providing access its passengers to 64 destinations throughout the Americas and the Caribbean.
The airline’s entry into Star Alliance will significantly increase travel options and connectivity.
 
With becoming a member of Star Alliance, passengers booking Copa Airlines flights tickets will now be getting access to above 1,356 destinations spread over 193 countries, with more than 21,500 daily flights.
 
Apart from this Copa Airlines passengers will also be able to take advantage of frequent flyer benefits on Star Alliance member airlines. They will also be able to earn and redeem miles across partner member airlines, get upgrades and access to VIP lounges.

Currently, Copa Airlines is already into partnership with United Airlines since 1998. The airline hopes that its entry into Star Alliance will strengthen its network and will provide opportunity to enter into partnerships with other carriers worldwide.
