Getting around in San Jose
San Jose can be reached by various international airlines from different parts of the world which arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport, located 14 miles (23 km) to the west of the city. Besides international airlines, this airport is also served by several budget domestic carriers.

The San Jose metro area of Costa Rica is not really known for its shopping options.
