EVA Airways planning to expand its flights network in Asia

Taiwan’s leading carrier EVA Airways recently announced it is planning to increase its flights network in Asia and taking effective steps towards this.

The airline in a statement said that with an aim at expanding EVA Airways flights network in Asia the airline has decided to lease 18 Airbus A321-200 aircrafts. The airline disclosed that the first of the leased aircraft would be delivered by the end of November this year.

According to EVA Airways, the leased aircrafts would enable the airline to significantly focus on Asian routes as well as making it the most competitive carrier for mid- and short routes in the Asian continent. The airline is planning to operate flights to China and Japan from Taiwan.

The airline recently started operating new flights between Taiwan and Japan. The airline said that it has launched the new Taoyuan-Hakodate route. The airline also plans to begin flights between Taoyuan and Nigata as well.
