The festive season starts from November 11 which is marked as St. Martin’s Day. Lantern processions are held in many kindergartens and plays are organized narrating the legend of St. Martin. The children walk along the streets carrying the lanterns and singing as they walk. Thereafter, Christmas celebration begins when the whole city is adorned with decorative lights and festivity.
