Whether you have a passion for custom cars, modern classics and pre-1980 classics – you will see all these and more at the Dream Car Classic Show being presently staged on the first Sunday of every month from 10 am to 2 pm through May 2014. This year the focus will be on the rarity of a car, the paint scheme and the engine. All these make the show quite special. The Dream Car Classic Show is being held for quite some months now. During one of the recent shows, host of the popular TV show ‘My Classic Car’ Dennis Gage fascinated the spectators and car owners with his presence. More than 85 classic cars, motorcycles and trucks were showcased at the event. The vehicles participating in the show included Cudas, Corvettes, Mustangs, police cars, fire trucks and more. Gage was visiting the area for the first time. An enthused Gage remarked that the tree-lined street along Hollywood Boulevard was absolutely a great setting for a classic car show like the present one.
George Barris, legendary vehicle customizer, made a special appearance at the Dream Car Classic Show along with the iconic Batcycle, Batmobile and original Batcopter from the popular “Batman” TV series during the 1960s. The show was held on March 2.
The Dream Car Classic Show is a great family-friendly event where the spectators are regaled with several custom and vintage vehicles. The visitors at the show are also encouraged to get into the garb of Batman, Robin or whichever superhero they like.
The Dream Car Classic Show is free to attend. It is also open for vehicles of various models, makes and years. The City of Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency has been organizing the show for past several years now.
