The evenings are pleasant and you can comfortably sleep during night without switching on the air conditioners. If you don’t like humidity and high temperatures, the month of January is surely the best for you to visit the city for sightseeing or spending your holidays.

Weather in February
February is greatly favored by the tourists to explore Punta Cana. The weather is beautiful and is a major attraction for thousands of holidaymakers. Tourists prefer visiting the city during this month as there is little or no rain. Humidity is also little or virtually absent. Weather in April
April is the beginning of the summer season. The temperature during this month is pleasant, and is unlikely to reach to a maximum of 90 F as it is usually during typical summer months. The mornings as well as evenings during this month are cool, usually in the high 60s F. If you are visiting Punta Cana in April, it will be better to pack a sweater to avoid mornings and evenings chill, if you ever feel so. It is also the ideal month to visit the city as you will be able to avoid the rains as well. However, even though it rains, it will be sweet and brief. This is also the best month to visit if you want to avoid hurricane season, which though doesn’t start until June.
