If you are traveling with older teens, caving could be a great activity for them. Take them to the Fun Fun Cave where an underwater river, rappelling and bats would be great fun and provide immense joy. The horseback riding and a little hiking are also there to make their day memorable. Exploring the Fun Fun Cave, one of the largest natural caves in the Dominican Republic, is particularly an exciting experience for older teens.

Monster Truck Safari
The Monster Truck Safari is an indeed thrilling experience. Its name ‘Monster Truck’ shouldn’t send shivers down the spines and is not necessarily meant to crush smaller vehicles. This zebra-striped tour truck means much more than what one could really perceive. The truck will take you on the land as well as in the water. This fun safari includes rumbling through sugarcane fields as well as swimming by taking many plunges into the local rivers. Your kids will surely enjoy the Monster Truck Safari.

Outback Jungle Safari
What more your kids can ask for other than this! The Outback Jungle Safari will be all fun and sheer joy for your little ones. Get ready to say good bye to your dune buggy and board the open-sided, big safari truck to take a guided tour. It will be a great fun stopping en route and playing with exotic animals. Among other highlights of this safari include educational tours of chocolate as well as fruit plantations, paying a visit to an authentic Dominican home, and boogie-boarding.

Xtreme Dune Buggy
A half or full day excursion on a dune buggy through the Dominican countryside would absolutely be a fantastic idea. The excursion includes a tour through the plantations and stops for sipping and enjoying local coffee. You will also be able to drive the dune buggy along the beach as well. The full-day trip will take you all the way to the Laguna Limon. It will also include a short canoe trip to the beach and a sumptuous lunch during the course of your trip.

This ecological park forms a portion of Punta Cana Resort. Inspirato’s Casa Cana villa is also located inside this park. The Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park, which is spread in an area of 1,500 acres, has several trails that lead up to dozens of lagoons spread over the massive complex. The park attracts eco-tourists in large numbers and is a great place to educate children and make them aware about the shielded Ridgway Hawk and several other bird species. The park is also a habitat for iguana and the petting zoo here adds a fun element especially for the children. The park’s interpretive trail will take you through the dense jungle and provide rich information on Dominican Republic’s cultural and natural heritage.
