Frontier Airlines carries 3,819 passengers from Bellingham to Denver in its first full month of service

Frontier Airlines flights carried 3,819 passengers on its daily flights between Bellingham and Denver in its first full month of service this year.
Bellingham International Airport officials recently announced that the passenger traffic so far at the airport is quite ahead as compared to the last year.

The Port of Bellingham, which recently gathered the airline data, disclosed that in the first six months of 2012, nearly 281,664 people traveled out of the Bellingham International Airport. According to the airline data, there was a 15 percent increase in the passenger traffic as compared to the same duration in 2011.

The airline data further pointed out that in 2011 nearly 511,756 passengers took flights out of Bellingham International Airport, which was a record year in terms of passengers.
 
According to the airport officials, other carriers like Allegiant Air, Horizon Air and Alaska Airlines contributed in good measure in the number of passengers. Allegiant Air carried the largest number of passengers with 25,322 in June this year out of Bellingham International Airport. Horizon Air carrier 11,851 passengers, while Alaska Airlines carried 8,728 passengers.
