Frontier Airlines Madison-Washington DC service to be expanded

Frontier Airlines recently announced it will be expanding its existing flights services between Madison’s Dane County Regional Airport and Washington DC’s Ronald Regan National Airport.

The current three-time weekly Frontier Airlines flights will be converted into a daily service. The timing of the flight schedule on Madison-Washington DC route will also be improved. The changes will come into effect starting June 7, 2012.

In recent weeks, the new flight services will be the second Madison route by Frontier Airlines.

The airline in a statement said it will be deploying a 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft on the Madison-Washington DC route. The aircraft will feature onboard Wi-Fi connectivity and two-by-two leather seats.

Frontier Airlines also disclosed it will increase its existing nonstop service between Madison and Orlando International Airport in Florida starting May 27, 2012. The service will become year-round from seasonal. The aircraft on this route will also be upgraded to a 138-seat Airbus 319.

Currently, Frontier Airlines is offering three nonstop routes from Madison, in addition to connections throughout the western United States via daily service to its Denver hub.
