Frontier Airlines will continue to sport an animal on its aircraft tail. It will be a different experience for passengers taking Frontier Airlines flights to see an animal being displayed on its aircraft tail.
The airline recently announced that it will allow its passengers to choose the next animal to appear on a Frontier Airlines aircraft tail.
The 18 contenders vying for the job, include Doris the Chicken, Vladimir the Bat, Tina the Grebe, Doug the Dung Beetle, Enrique the Tree Frog, Polly the Parrot, Paula the Pig, Ralph the Ram, Alivina the Owl, Samson the Sloth, Melvin the Turtle, Chloe the Chipmunk, Cammie the Cow, Joanne the Giraffe, Fred the Walrus, Duke the Arctic Dog, Will & Hill the Prairie Dogs and Mario the Lizard.
The contest has already started and will end on April 7, 2012. The top three among the 18 potential contenders will make it to the finals, taking place April 9-15, with the winning animal being announced at the end of April.
During the four-week-long campaign, Frontier Airlines fans would be introduced to the 18 contestants through their audition reels featured in the airline’s advertisements and the audition room at the airline’s website.
The search for Frontier Airlines new “Spokesanimal” is continuing despite much protest.
Fans voting for their candidate will be eligible to get a discount on future Frontier Airlines trip and can also win up to $2,500 in Frontier Fly Bucks. A number of prizes including iPad and Kindle Fire also await the winners.
