Garuda Indonesia Introduces Dedicated Service to Singapore

Garuda Indonesia, the national airline of Indonesia announced recently the start of dedicated flight service to Singapore from Jakarta. The airline also announced adding 10th flight on this route, making it a frequency leader on this sector.

Singapore-Jakarta service will be operated using technologically-advanced Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 737-800 aircrafts. Passengers flying this route will experience Garuda Indonesia’s signature elements like customized in-flight meals matching their local palates. Passengers will also be offered preferred baggage handling facility along with a consecrated conveyer belt for flyers arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta from Singapore.

Not only this, travelers flying to onward destinations from Singapore having more than three hours of transit time, will be offered access to Emerald Sky Business Class Lounge, irrespective of their travel class.

The new return service operated by Boeing 737-800NG aircraft will feature airlines new livery ‘Nature’s Wing’, enhanced on-board services and its signature interiors. The new service will depart from Jakarta at 0940 hours and arrive in Singapore’s Changi Airport 1230 hours. Return flight will leave at 1405 hours and arrive in Singapore at 1500 hours.

Garuda Indonesia to celebrate this launch has announced sale fare on select business class routes till December 23, 2014.
