Gulf Air launching co-branded credit card for frequent flyers

Bahrain’s national flag carrier Gulf Air recently announced it has launched a co-branded credit card for its frequent flyers. The airline said that the new credit card is being specifically designed to offer frequent flyers booking Gulf Air flights an exceptional value.

The airline in a statement said that the newly-launched co-branded credit card is essentially a two-in-one card offering its customers the power of a loyalty program and the convenience of a credit card in one.
Gulf Air joined hands with Standard Chartered Bank in Bahrain to launch the co-branded credit card offering an array of exclusive privileges and services for the airline’s frequent flyers.

According to Gulf Air, the new card would be available in three premium variants – Gold, Silver and Blue. The airline said that frequent flyers booking Gulf Air flights tickets and holding the Standard Chartered Frequent Flyer Credit Cards would be enjoy the privilege of converting their daily banking transactions, including account deposits, into flight rewards.
