Gulf Air offers more flights to Muscat

Gulf Air, flag carrier of Bahrain announced recently its plan to offer additional direct flights to Oman’s capital city Muscat. The airline will add an additional four weekly flights between Bahrain and Muscat, effective January 20, 2015.

In response to the growing demand, the airline decided to provide four additional flights every week i.e. on every Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. With this the frequency of flights to Muscat will increase to 25 from its present 21 weekly flights.

Ahmed Janahi, Chief Commercial Officer for Gulf Air said that the airline is extremely happy to announce its enhanced flight schedule. These additional flights will further strengthen our allegiance with our customers, in terms of better connectivity and commodious flight schedule and also reinforce our stance as one of the largest regional air network provider.

Flights to Oman are an integral component of Gulf Air’s elaboration of services to adjacent Gulf countries. Only a few days back the airline announced introducing two new routes to Saudi Arabia from the beginning on 2015. As per the airline it will start serving Taif and Gassim, both in Saudi Arabia by January 10, 2015 and bringing in Saudi Arabian operations to six destinations.

The four additional flights will depart from Bahrain International Airport at 0900 hours and arrive in Muscat at 1130 hours. Return flight will leave from Muscat International Airport at 1215 hours and arrive in Bahrain at 1250 hours.
