Hawaiian Airlines increases capacity on Honolulu-Manila route to tackle holiday demand

Hawaiian Airlines recently announced it has increased its capacity on Manila-Honolulu route to cope with the growing demand during the holiday season.

Apart from increasing the number of seats, the airline has also boosted its cargo-carrying capacity on the route.

The airline in a statement said that Hawaiian Airlines flights between Manila and Honolulu with the increased capacity have now begun operations starting from November 4 and will continue until March 31, 2012.

Hawaiian Airlines will be operating flights on Manila-Honolulu route with the help of a 294-seat Airbus A330 aircraft.
 
Earlier, the airline had been offering services on this route with the help of a Boeing 767 aircraft. However, the airline said that with the deploying of Airbus A330 aircraft on the route, now 30 more seats will be added. The cargo capacity will also be increased by 25 percent.

Hawaiian Airlines has been offering nonstop flights on Manila-Honolulu route four times every week since 2008.
