Hawaiian Airlines launching Taipei-Honolulu flights in July

Hawaiian Airlines recently announced it would be launching its flights services to Taiwan next year. The launch of new flights to a prominent country in Asia is in keeping with the airline’s aggressive expansion plan.
 
The airline in a statement said that Hawaiian Airlines flights to Taipei from Honolulu would become operational from July 2013.

Hawaiian Airlines said that it is planning to deploy a 294-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft to operate flights on Honolulu-Taipei route.

According to the airline, it will be adding more than 45,000 seats to Taiwan on its planned thrice weekly flights. The airline said that the launch of new flights between Honolulu and Taipei is expected to boost the Hawaiian travel industry and benefit the people of the region.

Hawaiian Airlines’ announcement has come only after two months after the federal government said that Taiwan would be included in the Visa Waiver Program permitting visa-free travel to the U.S. for a period of 90 days or fewer for tourism or business purposes.
