Hawaiian Airline, the largest carrier of Hawaii launched its inaugural flight to Taipei. This flight marked the airlines service to its overall seventh destination in Asia. The airline commenced its nonstop operations from Honolulu to the Taiwanese capital this month.
The introductory flight departed Honolulu International Airport late night and arrived early morning in Taipei, giving passengers ample time to align their events through the day.
Flight HA 807 received a warm welcome at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei. Even as the passengers waited to board themselves on this plane at Honolulu they were treated to dance, music and mouth-watering Taiwanese delicacies. It was an enriching experience for the customers to witness the grand inaugural ceremony.
As per the schedule the airline will depart Honolulu at 1.55 am each Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and arrive at Taipei at 6:15 am the next day.
The return flight HA 808 will embark on its journey from Taipei at 8.55 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and touchdown Honolulu at 1:10 p.m. the same day.
The carrier will use a 294-seater A330-200 aircraft to fly between these two destinations. The airline operates out of its main hub at Honolulu International Airport and a secondary hub at Kahului Airport on the isle of Maui.
