Insel Air is planning to operate flights to San Juan Luis Muñoz Marin from November this year. The airline has applied for the traffic rights and is seeking approval from the aviation authorities.
Earlier this year, Insel Air launched its flights between Aruba and Maracaibo in Venezuela. The flights between the two destinations were launched on June 15, 2013. The airline has since been operating a single daily MD-83 service on this route.
Meanwhile, in yet another development Insel Air announced that it will be increasing its frequency between Curacao and Paramaribo starting from October 19, 2013. The airline will now be operating five flights every week from the existing four weekly flights. The airline said that with this extra frequency to the existing schedule they will increase the availability of seats as well as offer more flexibility to the passengers.
To celebrate the additional frequency, Insel Air has launched a special offer with competitive price. The offer starts on October 19 and will continue up till the end of December this year. According to the airline, this special offer will be valid for the extra flight on Saturday to Paramaribo. The customers will be offered the tickets on this new route at half the price.
