Jet Airways adjudged best Indian airline for 2012 by prestigious travel magazine

Jet Airways flights in Business Class and First Class have been acknowledged as among the best by any Indian carrier and have won award by a prestigious travel magazine.

India’s largest private carrier Jet Airways has recently been adjudged the 'Best Airline - Business/First Class (Indian)’ at the prestigious Lonely Planet Travel Awards 2012.

The airline in a statement said that Jet Airways emerged victorious from amongst a field comprising several of the world’s leading airlines.
The award was received by Sonu Kripalani, Vice President – Passenger Sales (India), on behalf of Jet Airways at a function held in Mumbai, which was attended by several luminaries from the trade and travel industry.

The award seeks to recognize and honor the best in class destinations, organizations and service providers based on an objective study conducted by Lonely Planet. Response was sought by readers through an online poll as well as Lonely Planet magazine.

Jet Airways operates flights to 76 destinations in India as well as around the world, including New York (both JFK and Newark), London (Heathrow), Singapore, Toronto, Kuala Lumpur, Brussels, Milan, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, and others.
