Jet Airways gets three prestigious Travel Awards for 2011

Jet Airways has been bestowed with 3 prestigious awards at an impressive ceremony held in Mumbai on October 12, 2011. Jet Airways is India’s leading private carrier operating flight services on both domestic and international routes.

Jet Airways was honored with the three awards at the “Times Travel Honours 2011”. The awards given to the airline included “Most Trusted Airline Brand”, “Best Domestic Full Service Carrier” and “Best International (Economy) Airline” for the year 2011. The travel awards have been instituted by India’s leading media house Times Group. Gilbert George, Senior General Manager – Sales of jet Airways, received the award on behalf of Jet Airways at the well-attended event graced by leading luminaries from the travel and tourism industry.

Times Travel Honours 2011 is the inaugural award to be bestowed on 29 winners, including Jet Airways, which ranged from those hailing from hospitality and travel industry, such as airlines, cruise liners, boutique hospitals and fleet taxi services. The awards have been essentially designed to recognize the efforts of the emerging hospitality and tourism industry, and will be given every year.
