JetBlue Airways flights to Worcester likely in future

There are available indications that JetBlue Airways flights to Worcester are likely to begin in future. Media reports recently said that Dave Barger, President and CEO of JetBlue Airways, would be flying to Worcester later this August.

The planned visit of Barger has raised fresh hopes that the airline would be introducing flights to Worcester Regional Airport in future. Barger’s visit to Worcester at the end of August this year strongly affirms that JetBlue Airways may have a future in the city.

Earlier, Dave Barger had posted the announcement of his visit to Worcester on August 22, 20112 on Twitter. The message was posted on August 1, 2012.
Ever since Direct Air abruptly canceled its flights and subsequently filing bankruptcy, Worcester Regional Airport had been left abandoned and it is eagerly waiting for a commercial airline to begin flights to the city soon.

Within the last several months, this will be the second visit to Worcester by Dave Barger.
