JetBlue Airways signs frequent flier pact with Emirates Airline

JetBlue Airways recently announced it has entered into a frequent flier pact with Middle East’s leading carrier Emirates Airline.
 
The frequent flier agreement between the two carriers will allow customers of both the airlines to earn frequent flier miles points on each other’s flights.

Earlier, both JetBlue Airways and Emirates Airline had signed a codeshare pact in late 2010. The codeshare pact allows passengers boarding JetBlue Airways flights to book a single ticket on both the airlines and utilize each other’s flight network for their travel. Similar facilities are also applicable to Emirates Airline customers.

JetBlue Airways presently connects 71 cities operating 750 daily flights in North America, South America and the Caribbean.

Currently, Emirates Airline operates two daily nonstop flights from New York’s John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport to Dubai. JetBlue Airways also operates out of its main hub at New York JFK airport. Emirates Airline is also operating flights to seven destinations in North America at present.
