JetBlue Airways has announced the launch of its non-stop seasonal flights from New York. The airline said that it plans to commence seasonal service between New York and Hyannis in Massachusetts. This service will debut on June 26, 2014. With the commencement of this flight, Hyannis will become the 86th destination on the itinerary of this airline.
The airline is planning to operate these flights between June 26, 2014 and September 9, 2014. The planes will fly between John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Barnstable Municipal Airport (HYA). Hyannis is a popular city in the state of Massachusetts and is sometimes referred to as Capital of the Cape. As per the schedule, flights will depart New York at 11:59 am and arrive in Barnstable Municipal Airport at 1:05 pm, on all days excluding Saturdays. On Saturdays, the flights will depart New York at 12:00 pm and arrive in Hyannis at 1:06 pm. The return flights will depart Hyannis at 1:45 pm and arrive in John F. Kennedy International Airport at 2:53 pm, daily.
The airline has also launched one-way introductory fares between the city pair starting from only $99*. These fares are valid for travel period between June 26, 2014 and July 24, 2014. However, passengers will be able to travel only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on these tickets. The Long Island City based airline is expanding within the United States. Just recently, it launched flights between Boston and Detroit, making Detroit its 85th overall destination.
