Korean Air resuming direct flights to Saudi Arabia after 15 years

Travelers looking forward to visit Saudi Arabia from South Korea will now be able to book Korean Air flights tickets soon.

South Korea’s national flag carrier Korean Air recently announced it will be resuming its direct flights to Saudi Arabia in November this year.
The decision of the airline to resume Korean Air flights to Saudi Arabia comes after a gap of 15 years.

The airline said that it will start offering thrice weekly flights to the Saudi Arabian capital city of Riyadh as well as to the largest port city of Jeddah in the country.

The flights to Riyadh and Jeddah from Seoul would begin operations from November 9, 2012. The airline would be deploying a 218-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft to operate flights to these two cities.

Korean Air first started operating direct flights services to Saudi Arabia from 1977. The airline continued its operations until 1997 and afterwards stopped operating the flights to the country.
