Qatar Airways celebrates fifth anniversary of its flights to Washington D.C.

State of Qatar’s national flag carrier Qatar Airways recently celebrated five years of its flights services to Washington D.C. The airline started Qatar Airways flights to Washington Dulles International Airport from Doha on July 19, 2007. Qatar Airways operates nonstop daily flights between Doha and Washington D.C.

This joyous occasion for the airline has come at a time when Qatar Airways was recently named World’s Best Airline during the prestigious Skytrax World Airline Awards ceremony held annually.

Currently, Qatar Airways offers flights out of six gateways in the Americas. These gateways include New York, Washington D.C., Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires and Montreal. The airline operates thrice weekly flights to Montreal. However, Qatar Airways flights to other 5 gateways in the Americas are operated daily.

Through these gateways, the airline offers opportunity to its passengers from the USA to connect through Doha to important leisure and business destinations across Asia, India, Africa, Australia and the Middle East.
