Qatar Airways signs codeshare agreement with Oman Air

Qatar Airways recently announced it has signed a codeshare agreement with Oman Air. The codeshare pact is aimed at allowing Oman air’s customers to book flights to Doha from any of the 42 departure points within its network.

According to the airline, the codeshare agreement would allow Qatar Airways flights code to be put on Oman Air-operated flights. Similarly, Oman Air would also be able to put its flight code on Qatar Airways-operated flights. Apart from this, the customers of both the carriers would be able to take maximum benefit of frequent flyer programs on each other’s network.

Akbar Al Baker, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, said that the airline is delighted to enter into partnership with Oman Air and would continue to provide the customers with extensive choice and flexibility when planning their itineraries. He also said that the airline with this new partnership would offer the customers an extensive network of destinations to choose from.
