State of Qatar’s flag carrier Qatar Airways recently won “Best Regional Arab Airline 2011” award presented by Service Hero at an awards ceremony in Kuwait. The awards are given in recognition of the highest customer satisfaction provided by the airlines.
Qatar Airways was honored for its dedication to service excellence in eight service areas, including reliability, speed, product quality, value for money, location of offering, staff quality, call centre and websites.
The airline said in a statement that Kuwait-Doha route has been a solid performer in its regional network. According to a top official, Qatar flights to Kuwait from Doha has been expanded to six-times daily from February this year, with a seventh frequency scheduled to start from April 1, 2012.
Mohammed Al Jumairi, Qatar Airways Country Manager Kuwait, said that Kuwait is one of the airline’s long-standing routes serving as a vital part of Qatar Airways’ Gulf network, with seamless connections via Doha to several destinations, including London, Bangkok, New York and Shanghai among others.
