New SWISS Arrival Lounge at Zurich Airport opens

Passengers taking SWISS flights and landing at Zurich Airport will get an exhilarating experience the moment they arrive here.

Switzerland’s flag carrier SWISS recently announced the opening of its brand new arrival lounge. The new SWISS Arrival Lounge at Zurich Airport opened its doors for the passengers on April 3, 2012. The airline in a statement said that the luxurious 700 sq. m. lounge will be offering a wide range of services, including facilities for working, relaxation and freshening up, to the arriving passengers.

The lounge is located in the public area of Arrivals 2 at Zurich Airport, and is readily accessible within a few minutes of landing. The lounge is of great benefit to particularly those passengers coming off long-haul flights.

Featuring elegant SWISS design, the lounge is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment. According to the airline, the spacious refresh facilities in the lounge include 20 showers, from where the passengers can order an ironing service with the press of a button.

The lounge is equipped with several attractive features as well. The lounge is open daily from 05:45 to 13:00, and replaces the former Arrival Lounge in Arrivals 1. The Arrival Lounge is available to SWISS status customers as well as to SWISS Business and First Class passengers.
