Swiss adjusting European services summer schedule

Swiss International Air Lines recently announced it will be making changes to its 2012 summer schedule for European services.

Swiss flights from Zurich, Geneva and Basel will see some changes in its schedule in view of shifts in demand.

The airline indicated that it will be raising its frequencies on the Zurich-Newark route. The flights on this route will now be operated with the help of Airbus A340 aircraft.

The airline will also be increasing flights service to Beijing and Chicago on its intercontinental network.

During the current summer schedule, Swiss International Air Lines will be serving a total of 70 destinations, including 47 European and 23 intercontinental, in 38 countries.

The summer schedule starts from March 25 through October 27, 2012.

The airline will be increasing its service to Prague from three to four a day on its European network from its Zurich hub. It is also adding a second daily flight to Bucharest.
