Turkish Airlines is No. 1 in the world to fly most countries

Turkey’s national flag carrier Turkish Airlines recently declared that it has attained the number one spot in terms of the number of countries it is presently serving.

According to the Official Airline Guide in terms of the number of countries being served, Turkish Airlines flights have secured the number one position in the world.

Turkish Airlines is presently operating flights to 90 countries across the world. At this rate, the number of flights the airline is operating is far more than those being operated than any other airline around the globe.

The airline has added more than 30 new routes this year and is now flying to a total of 250 destinations. The airline also stated that it will continue to expand its flight network around the world. The airline has been undertaking extensive efforts to expand its network into the Americas, Africa, Middle East, Far East, Central Asia, Russia and Europe.

Recently, Turkish Airlines added its 200th aircraft in the fleet, and plans to reach a goal of having 300 aircrafts in its fleet in the future.
