Aer Lingus offers virtual new Business Class experience

Are you planning to fly business class in Aer Lingus? Then, why not first take a peep into what the new business class brings for you. Aer Lingus is welcoming you to take a Google Maps virtual tour to experience the new and upgraded business class being rolled out across the airline’s Boeing 757 fleet. While taking the tour it will seem as though you have entered the business class cabin on a real aircraft.

A spokesperson of Aer Lingus said that business class customers would be able to enjoy their travel relaxing on fully lie flat seats. The new business class cabins on the airline’s Boeing 757 aircrafts would offer the same space, storage and comfort being provided on the Airbus A330 fleet since 2015. The airline earlier conducted the inaugural flight of the new Boeing 757 aircraft between Boston and Shannon in February 2016. The airline has already indicated that the new business class cabins would be installed on other B757s by mid-May this year.

Declan Kearney, Aer Lingus’ Director of Communications, said, “It is a matter of great delight for the airline that the customers traveling on Boeing 757 fleet would be extended new and upgraded business class experience while traveling across the Atlantic from both Shannon and Dublin. A virtual tour created with the help of Google maps would provide everyone an opportunity to see exactly what is being offered in the business class cabin and get a feel of what it would be actually like when flying in the new business class.”

All those online users undertaking virtual tour would be able to experience how it would be when walking up to the Boeing 757 aircraft, climbing the steps and walking through the aisle of the business class cabin. ‘The Revival Lounge’ at Dublin airport would also be featured during the virtual tour. The lounge would provide access to the visitors from North America arriving in Dublin, where they can refresh before leaving for their final destination. The lounge has also been equipped with a wide range of facilities including a waiting area with newspapers and TV, refreshments, Wi-Fi, steam pressing of shirts on request, shower and premium changing.
