Aer Lingus Regional will run over Shannon-Edinburgh route

Aer Arann will now be operating five-times a week service in compliance to the carrier’s franchise agreement signed with the fellow Irish airline Aer Lingus. The services will commence 27th March 2011 with onboard crew members provided by the Aer Arann on aircraft ATR 72-500.

The flights will fly depart from Shannon at 10.45 a.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will arrive in Edinburgh at 12.15 p.m. The round trip flight will leave Edinburgh at 12.40 p.m. and will arrive in Shannon at 02.15 p.m.

The new routes will be an addition to the existing Aer Lingus Regional flights from Shannon to Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Glasgow.

Aer Lingus has also started a new daily morning service between Shannon and London Gatwick and also announced its own flights between Shannon and Paris CDG.
