Ireland’s flag carrier Aer Lingus
recently said that it will introduce 10 new routes for its winter schedule for 2011-12 starting from October 30, 2011.
The airline said that it has decided to begin three flights weekly from Cork to Barcelona. However, the new flight service will be operated twice weekly from Cork to Rome.
Aer Lingus further said that it will introduce twice weekly flight services from Belfast to Rome as well as Alicante.
The airline announced a bonanza for snowboarding and ski enthusiasts looking for snow this winter with the inclusion of four flights weekly to Mial Malpensa in its extensive route network from Dublin throughout the winter schedule.
Besides, the Aer Lingus will also be extending the recently launched flight service to Stuttgart with four flights per week from Dublin this winter.
The airline further said that it will be extending the flight services from Dublin to Aberdeen and Bristol throughout this winter. Apart from this, flights from Shannon to Edinburgh will be extended and will operate throughout the winter schedule.
