Air Canada Rogue revamps business class cabins on all its A319s

Air Canada''s subsidiary Air Canada Rogue has said that it is on the verge of completing the revamp of its business class cabins on all its Airbus A319 aircrafts. The airline, which presently owns a fleet of 20 Airbus A319 aircrafts, said that the new business class seating will be of 2-2 configuration instead of the earlier 3-3 configuration. The new layout will thus see the middle seat being completely removed.

A spokesperson of Air Canada Rogue while providing details about the new layout said that there will be now two seats side-by-side. Each business class seat will have a coat hook, a USB port and a power plug. The customers booking business class tickets for travel on the airline would be delighted with the new layout and they would be offered more space. Among other additional customer convenience would prominently feature a pop-out cocktail tray between the two seats and a center console.

The airline in a statement further said that new curved overhead compartment doors are also being installed. This is being done to increase the storage space by 30 percent for carry-on luggage.

Air Canada Rouge also stated that its in-flight entertainment system will also be upgraded on all its Airbus A319 and Boeing 767 aircrafts. The upgrade will see the installation of the “”Player””, a streaming system to be offered free to all customers. The free app can be downloaded for use. As part of its in-flight entertainment system the airline will be offering an Aplle iPad rental program to the customers with iPad Air 2 tablets featuring many games and films.

Air Canada Rogue has recently added four times weekly nonstop flights services between Dublin and Toronto starting this summer.
